Weekend :)

Well this weekend was quite good :) On saturday I went to watch a fencing competition at Gateshead Stadium, which was quite exciting. Nothing much else happened on saturday I chilled at my house with my girlfriend and then i slept at Harriette's (my girlfriend). I wasn't awake for long while i was there though, fell asleep watching Alien. I was quite pissed off about this since i love that film!

Sunday was a good day as I went out with my friend Callum and we spent about 4 hours on the metro, this is a complicated sotry as to how we spent that long and i can't be bothered to tell it. Then on the night, i watched phoenix nights which never fails to make me laugh until my sides hurt :) i also spent a little time with Harriette watching "Run Fat Boy Run". I then went home and went on msn and bitched for about a million hours with my good friend Stephanie, which was good as shes amazing for a good bitch about people :)

Overall the weekend was really good :) Here's to more bitching sessions Steph!! haha

Fairwell Mr Bagnall....For Now.....

Well, today has been the end of an era for me and my friend michael as we said our goodbyes to our history teacher, Mr Bagnall. He gave us the best laughs at our time in Heworth Grange, every lunchtime when we would eat our lunch in his room, the room would be filled to the brim with laughter from his funny manerisms and the way he would insult us. We all knew he didn't mean it, infact it was funny. "You ghastly smelly child" and "This would never happen at the RGS, they are lovely pupils there" were commonplace when we were in the room but again we took it all in good humour. Even when we took us for history lessons, he had the entire class in stitches.

We went to that classroom, with the greggs sandwhich stickers on the wall, and sat down as Bagnall pottered around as per. He then sat with us and talked to us like old good friends, however the boyish insults did not by any means get held back! We were then joined by some of the upper 6th formers and we all just took the mick out of Bagnall, and the tables were turned for once! We all had a good laugh with him. It was then time for me and my friend to leave and we said our goodbyes to Peter Roy Bagnall and he wished us good luck for the future. He even promised us a meal and a drink one day next year.

The past few years have been good Royston, we will miss you :)

EXAMS FINISHED! :D

Today i finally finished my exams, which didn't really matter as i also got my letter from college saying i had been accepted and had a place (which i was pretty chuffed about). The first exam was fairly easy considering i did NO revision whatsoever. The second however just tore through my soul like a raging bullet. It was really hard as i had never even looked at the "intelectuals of Italy that helped Italian Unification"

Fencing tonight went really well, i fenced the coach quite well gaining the first 3 hits and they were good hits! I then, sadly, lost the fight 15-8. I then fought Helen and lost narrowly 15-14. I fenced really well against her getting lots of quick hits and beat attack hits. After those two vigarous fights i was extremely fatigued and could barely stand as my legs reminded me somewhat of jelly. After a rest and a talk with Dom i fought Helen again and won 15-12! :D I was really pleased with that result. From today's session i think i need to work more on fitness and my lower body strength. My footwork has improved alot in the past week. According to Dom, "Helen is moving down the pecking order" :P

Now im just resting with my girlfriend watching come dine with me, i love that sarcastic mans voice.

RAINY DAY! :(

Well today was as bleak as a winters one. I woke up and looked outside to be presented with the sky filled with grey, dullness filled me and i really could not be bothered to move out of the house. Nonetheless i left the house into the dank, miserable day. It rained from the moment i stepped out of the house (just my luck). Not much happened i went and got my mop chopped where i had a good natter on with the hairdresser about random things :) I then went to the gym and got my membership sorted so i can start training for fencing fitness! Again the weather still bleak and not a sign of the sun breaking through the solid grey sky (so much so it reminded me of concrete) i put my winter coat on, not something i thought i would be doing in the midst of summer!

Tonight, the sound of rain was all i could hear from outside, however the sound inside was much more appealing :)

Two exams tomorrow, i am not looking forward to them :( hopefully they will be as easy as the others :) Until next time :)....

Day 1

Well after seeing my friend at fencing training made one of these i thought i would make one to pass the time and to see how these things work as ive never used a blog before. Day by day i will be documenting what goes on during my day whether it be extremely boring or exciting. I am hoping this will aid me with my training for fencing as i can see how i progress and so can you!

Well i guess i'll start, today i had an AS biology exam which i thought would be really difficult however on opening the exam paper i realised it was not that difficult after all, so hopefully i will have done good with that. :) I then spent the night with my gorgeous girlfriend which i very much enjoyed. :)

As i said i haven't done a blog before and so i will probably get better at all this shizz in the near future. Till next time :)
